Norolan’s first lure built for trophy pike
The Griddy Dancer L is a handcrafted double-bladed spinnerbait innovated by Norolan and built specifically for big pike. Its unique horizontal swimming action, fish-shaped jointed body, two rotating blades and lively skirt combine to create a powerful profile that stands out and can be detected from a distance. Now it also features a “fish-eye” that acts as a clear strike point!
Handcrafted in Finland, the lure is 17 cm long and weighs 31 g. It has already proven its potential, with a massive 132 cm pike caught on the Griddy Dancer L!
Cast. Retrieve. Pause. And bang!
During a steady retrieve, the large twin blades spin and move plenty of water. When you pause the retrieve, the blade section turns around and the lure’s movement changes completely. This draws the pike’s attention to the lure, and when you start retrieving again, everything is set for the strike.
The lure’s action and colour range have been refined over countless testing sessions together with competitive anglers and fishing guides. Thanks to its unique horizontal swimming action, the weed guard works extremely well with the single hook.
Using live sonar, we have repeatedly seen pike detect the lure’s powerful turbulence and start following it from several metres away.
Every Griddy Dancer is unique and easy to customise
The lures are made using Norolan’s unique manufacturing method before being painted and finished by hand in Mikkeli, Finland. This gives every lure its own individual look, and no two are exactly alike.
The Griddy Dancer L is jointed at three points, which helps keep hooked fish securely pinned. You can add a soft-plastic trailer to the single hook to give the lure a longer profile, or replace the single hook with a treble hook for improved hooking efficiency when fishing outside vegetation.
In deeper water, you can easily attach a sinker to the Griddy L to get the lure down towards the bottom faster.
